Christina Hall and her daughter are twinning in style with fresh new looks as the HGTV personality continues to navigate her divorce from Josh Hall.
The Christina on the Coast star and Taylor El Moussa, 13—her and former spouse Tarek El Moussa's eldest child—showcased similar sleek 'dos on social media Aug. 17 after a visit to a salon.
"Mom & Daughter hair day!" read an Instagram post shared on the Anaheim Hills, Calif.-based business Lush Locks by Latitude, which included a video of the duo. "Christina got a fresh microfoil & Lush Lucks extensions, while Taylor added soft partial highlights to blend her sun-kissed ends."
Christina, 41, has been focusing on her work and her family and friends since she and Josh both filed for divorce July 16 after more than two years of marriage. In addition to Taylor, she also shares with Tarek son Brayden El Moussa, who turns 9 this week, and is also a mom to Hudson Anstead, 4, whose dad is her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
"I finally have my appetite back. I’m exercising again," Christina wrote on Instagram Aug. 9. “My kids are happy & our house feels like home. ‘Those poor kids’ adore me.. anyone who knows us for real knows this and that’s what matters."
The Flip or Flop alum, who earlier this month shared pics from what she called a "much needed girls trip," continued, "I've had some of my best nights with friends recently....laughed more than I have in forever. Work is going so good it feels like a dream."
Josh had broken his silence about the former couple's split Aug. 2. "I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for," the 43-year-old wrote on Instagram at the time. "I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever."
Josh posted the statement soon after sharing a pic of a sculpture spelling out the word hope, to which Christina responded by reposting the image on her Instagram Stories with the message, "I 'HOPE' she pays me millions more than what she’s already offered me." She later deleted her post.
Look back at Christina and Josh's relationship...
Sparks flew while Christina and Josh started spending time together. The couple recreated their March 2021 date a year later.
While on vacation for Christina's birthday, the two posed for a photo on the beach and made their relationship Instagram official.
Months in, Christina had a message for any haters, noting she'll "turn off comments with Josh and will continue to do so if people are rude." As she later put it, "Do what you love with the ones you love. For me, that's Josh, my kids and a few close friends and co-workers."
Engaged! One day after celebrating Josh's birthday, Christina confirmed the duo's romance was anything but a flop.
The pair celebrated the spooktacular season with a visit to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
Just a few months later, they marked their first Christmas together.
"Building life together and enjoying some alone time," she captioned this sweet pic. "Love you Josh."
The following month, Christina enjoyed the "Best Valentine's weekend with my Valentine."
"Prayed for a man who was all man but still treated me like his queen," Christina wrote on Instagram just a few days before news of her and Josh's marriage broke. "Never give up."
In April 2022, fans learned that Christina and Josh privately tied the knot. They then celebrated their union with a wedding in Hawaii that September.
"Shared vows in front of family and our close friends," Christina wrote on Instagram Sept. 4. "Everything in life has led me to where I am right now, which is exactly where I want to be. My dream man on the dreamiest island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an amazing night filled with love."
It would later be revealed that the two actually wed in October 2021.
The real estate agent celebrated the HGTV star's birthday with a sweet tribute.
"Happy 40th Birthday to my absolute stunner of a wife!" he wrote on Instagram. "This woman has accomplished so much, inspired so many and continues to impress me daily. I can’t say enough about what an absolute force she is and what she is capable of. Christina is about to make her 40’s the best decade of her life and looking better than ever while doing it!I’m a lucky man and thank my lucky stars that she chose me to take this ride with her that is now our life. Ride or die baby, love you more than anything."
Christina and Josh stepped out for a beach day with her French bulldog Cash and his dog Stella.
"Still going strong…" Josh wrote on Instagram alongside photos over the pair from over the past three years. "03/2024 ← 03/2023 ← 03/202← 03/2021."
In July 2024, Josh filed for divorce from Christina, citing "irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and her listing the same in her own court documents.
